Okay, so I know this was explained in class, but I still don't really get it. Where did the 'Avenger' come from? I really don't remember what chapter he is from or what page to cite, so bear with me.
the Avenger is a boy that he hired to be his servant simply to look fancyer than he is.only thing is that Pip dosent really have a job for him to do so Pip feels tied down to this boy because now he has to pay him for sitting around with nothing to do.
